Last night I joined a kid from the CU Rally Club in driving up Flagstaff road at 20mph over the limit and almost understeered off the road a couple times. I then drove on a washboard dirt road (covered in snow, mud, and ice) between Flagstaff and Coal Creek Canyon. Got home at 11:30pm. From last night’s run, I learned that driving below your limit is lame. You gotta drive balls to the wall to really test your bounds and see what you can do.
Here’s the view of my car before I washed it this morning:
Then today I went exploring and found a road better than Flagstaff. Magnolia Road up through Roosevelt National Forest. When you see a sign like this, how can you resist the urge to drive up it?!
Certainly not me...

CU Rally Club? That sounds like a kind of club all schools should have. I’m looking for some good roads in the area to do, I read about Bishop’s Castle Run but it is a bit of a haul to get there.
